Szeged

In Szeged, we met with a friend of Kuba Agnes and we left our luggage in her workplace. We did sightseeing a little, and when we sat on a bench in front of the Town Hall beautiful music played. We felt like in another world, the fatigue was gone for a while, the sun, trees, a fountain and music ..

Later we learned that every hour there is a music, but every time different one. About 17 we met with Petra, our host. Petra turned out to be a very interesting person. She worked in the oncology clinic, was very friendly and cheerful. Smile never left her lips. In her house we took a shower and we went to conquer Szeged.

Here in Szeged in general there are no tourists (almost, because two Czechs gave us a map when we asked them-again Czechs!). They have a fantastic device for making a water mist to cool down the body. The town was very calm and we felt a positive atmosphere there. We went to eat.

Kuba ordered a fish soup (typical in Szeged) and I ordered fish and chips. I would like to mention here that on this trip (like mostly on our trips) we want to spend as least money as possible. During these two days in Budapest and Szeged we broke this rule a little, but these days were first days of the trip and we wanted to not worry about anything. Again we have spent about 40 zlotys for food which is not a large sum for large portions in another country, in Poland we would pay more or less the same. And we ordered wine - 5 zloty for two glasses of wine! Agnes joined us and we talked. We went to the pub later, stopping at theplace with healing, warm water which smelled like sulfur: D we finished our conversation when we all started to yawn. Night was short - typical on our trip.
